Join a panel of writers, producers and industry professionals as we unpack how much you should get paid to write TV series and feature film scripts in South Africa. An interactive Q and A and robust discussion.
 
9am-10am:
Peter Goldsmid and Matthew Kalil take you through standard contracts and discuss rates for various script formats from TV to feature films and the WGSA Rates. They share their personal stories.
 
10am-11am:

11:15-12:30:
Producer Elias Ribeiro (Necktie Youth) and Dylan Voogt (Five Fingers for Marsellis, Unearthed, Hollywood In My Huis, Skoonheid, Retribution) talks about payment from the producer’s perspective as well as discusses his exciting Realness Residency and what that means for local writers.
