2022 WGSA MUSE AWARDS

We have not received the expected number of submissions for the 2022 WGSA Muse Awards despite numerous extensions. The Muse Committee, therefore, made a decision to forego the 2022 WGSA Muse Awards, and to amend the timeline for the 2023 WGSA Muse Awards as follows:

  • Opening of submissions to the 2023 WGSA Muse Awards: 1 April 2023 to 31 May 2023
  • Adjudication first round: 15 June to 15 July 2023
  • Adjudication of final round: 20 July to 20 August 2023
  • 2023 WGSA Muse Awards Ceremony: 16 September 2023

All entries for the 2022 WGSA Muse Awards will automatically be re-entered for the 2023 WGSA Muse Awards. If any of those entrants wish to amend their scripts, they may send the amended script to accounts@writersguildsa.org before 31 May 2023.

We will not call for new applications for judges, the current applications will be used. We will be in communication closer to the adjudication period to establish if applicants are still available for the new timeframe.

We apologise to those who had already entered for the inconvenience, and hope that the new submission period will be more acceptable for our members.
