Mohau Mannathoko’s career in the creative industry is marked by a deep passion for storytelling and a diverse set of skills honed over more than a decade. Starting his professional journey as a sound technician at a radio station, Mohau spent two years mastering the intricacies of sound, laying a strong foundation for his future in media production.
Building on this experience, Mohau transitioned into the world of visual storytelling. For five years, he excelled as a director, cinematographer, and video editor, crafting a wide range of content from unscripted and scripted television programs to corporate events and wedding videos. His keen eye for detail and narrative construction shone through in these roles, which paved the way for his next significant career leap.
Over the past four years, Mohau has dedicated himself to scriptwriting, producing compelling short films that have caught the attention of streaming platforms and film festivals. This phase of his career has been particularly fruitful, leading to the development of his first feature film, “Alive,” and a television series called “Thin Line.” This extensive experience in filmmaking, spanning eleven years, has firmly established Mohau as a versatile and talented creator in the industry.
