Gerhard has been active in the South African television and film industry for a number of years as a scriptwriter, director, film reviewer, and lecturer. He is currently employed as Academic Manager for the television and animation departments at Boston Media House in Johannesburg, and is busy completing his Masters’s Degree in creative writing at the University of Pretoria.
