“With increasing levels of unemployment, isolation and changes in normal routine during the pandemic, impacts on mental health are unavoidable. Elevated levels of stress and anxiety have become our new normal. Sedentary behaviour and low levels of physical activity can have negative effects on the health, well-being and quality of life of individuals. Self-quarantine can also cause additional stress and challenge the mental health of citizens. This workshop looks at ways we can overcome the stress and strain of this time in our lives, and lesson worry is to ground yourself in the present moment.”
