You may already be familiar with our annual list. The website (www.blcklst.com) is an extension of that mission – a real-time, online database of information about all feature and television screenplays.
Think of it as a card catalog for the film and television industry (but no Dewey Decimal system).
You’ve probably got a script that someone wants to produce, finance, direct, or star in. They just don’t know it exists yet. We can change that. Listing your script information in our database increases its visibility to those people and drives incoming calls to your representatives who can then determine whether to share the script itself.
End result: greater awareness to the right people, greater likelihood of your project selling and getting made.
You or your representatives add the script information: title, author, reps, genres, descriptive tags. Everything, or nothing. Change or remove any of it at any time. Tag the script, but keep your logline private. Entirely up to you.
It’s 100% free for you to list your script information. You can add a logline, genres, tags, and more. Hosting remains separate and additionally makes your script downloadable.
